Defense Information Security Agency Security Technical Implementation Guides (DISA STIGs)
The Information Assurance Support Environment provides the Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and the NSA Guides that are the configuration standards for Department of Defense (DoD) IA and IA-enabled devices/systems. The STIGs contain technical guidance to “lock down” information systems/software that might otherwise be vulnerable to a malicious computer attack. Fotis Machine Images allow you to quickly deploy DISA STIG-compliant images cost effectively while helping accelerate the DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF). Contact a Fotis Networks Specialist today for more information on DISA STIG hardened images.
Center for Internet Security (CIS)
Fotis Networks is a Named Consulting Partner for the implementation of CIS Security Benchmarks, a set of consensus-based and internationally recognized cybersecurity and compliance guidelines to safeguard against evolving cyber threats. Our images are built to the benchmarks required by FISMA and PCI DSS.
Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA)
FISMA is a United States federal law enacted in 2002 for information systems that support the operations and assets of the Federal Government, including those provided or managed by another agency, contractor, or other source. As Title III of the E-Government Act of 2002 (Pub.L. 107-347, 116 Stat. 2899), the act requires each federal agency to develop, document, and implement an agency-wide program to provide information security for that agency’s information.
Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS)
Any merchant that has a Merchant ID (MID) is required to ensure that process, storage or transmittal of credit card information is maintained in a secure environment.
More than just Consulting or an Auditing Service, Fotis Networks provides the hands-on technical engagement whether you’re building a data center, moving to the cloud, or hardening one server.
